Hi everyone!

It’s Madison again! For my first blog post on Mylo’s new website (well, technically second), I would like to do a recap on some behind the scenes I took during the creative process of all projects we did in the second half of last year. I’d like to call these types of collections of photos “From Madi’s Perspective” to really encompass the design process and what the designs look like before they’re on-site and speaking for themselves! In this collection, we are creating floral installations, centerpieces, boutineers, and arrangements for all types of events ranging from weddings, to styleshoots, to parties, and even home installations.

A story through photos…

The Weddings –

Sept. 2021 – The process of installation of baby’s breath clouds + daisy chains (at the Doyle Las Vegas).

Sept. 2021 – Dry bohemian floral in amber vase + their matching dry and elegant boutonnieres.

Oct. 2021 – Processed roses turned into a beautiful architectural rose ceremony arch (at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas).

Nov. 2021 – Lush white roses wrapped around a chandelier centerpiece (in collaboration with @arlene.levitt on Instagram at the Four Seasons Las Vegas).

Nov. 2021 – Tropical destination wedding preparation, fruit + floral centerpieces, and a dramatic statement arch (at the Blue Venado in Cancun, Mexico).

Nov. 2021 – Romantic red + white roses processed and transformed into a waterfall of flowers centerpiece (at the JW Marriott Las Vegas).

Dec. 2021 – Antique 1920s style white + silver centerpieces and a geometric and feathery ceremony arch to match (at the Tropicana Havana Room Las Vegas).

The Styleshoots –

Oct. 2021 – Bright barbie pinks and purples for a (my) birthday styleshoot (at Downtown Las Vegas).

Oct. 2021 – Dia de Los Muertos colorful makeup and headpiece shoot (with @soyella.co).

Nov. 2021 – A mix of romantic neutrals contrasted with bright + dramatic colors for bouquets, installations, and arrangements with @p3events (at the Gathering Place Las Vegas).

The Parties –

May 2021 – French rococo inspired gold vase arrangement for a graduation celebration.

Oct. 2021 – Another barbie pink styled centerpiece for a (my) 25th birthday party indoor picnic + wine tasting.

The Home Installations –

Nov. 2021 – Fall/Thanksgiving front door installation with dry floral and real pumpkins.

From Madison’s Perspective I was able to capture all of these moments as Mylo designed and brought to life all of these amazing pieces. And this isn’t even all of it, just the highlights. I look forward to continuing the presentation of MyloFleur’s beautiful work for all of 2022, stay tuned for more!

Cheers xx,

Madison

Hi everyone!

My name is Madison and I’ve worked alongside Mylo as a peer, colleague, compañera, assistant, style shoot model, friend, and assistant for almost 3 years now. We originally met when we were rooming together for our Mexico City study abroad with the UNLV School of Architecture as well as being on the same design project team for the global studio. For some reason, she saw something in me and has been a mentor to me ever since. I’m so lucky to have met her. She has taught me many useful life/design skills as well as how to be free and truly creative. When I’m not assisting her with beautiful floral and art work, I’m an architectural designer with a degree in architecture from UNLV. To me, flowers and architecture go hand-in-hand. You start with an original schematic concept, do site visits to assess spatial arrangements, preform detailing logistics, budget and plan materials, and ultimately conduct production for a client. What a fun career I’ve found myself in! A little more about me – I love going for walks, interior design, traveling, modeling, baseball, coffee, ballet, self-care days, golfing, and being organized. Sometimes a little too organized…

I’m going to be the girl-behind-the-blog for lots of posts this year, so hopefully you find these posts enjoyable, beautiful, and inspirational to read! 🙂

Cheers to MyloFleur 2022 xx,

Madison

The human body is an art form – better yet a masterpiece.  I wanted to created this editorial idea with another concept of color and minimalist editorial capture. The main concept derives from my overall design motto – Quality biophilic design, as seen in fashion, painting, sculpture, dance, and all forms of artistic expression, draws upon elements found in life. Composition, palette, movement, texture, and emotion are able to be conveyed. When the complete spectrum of expression is opened up, flowers no longer need to fit into an ideal, but rather are able to speak for themselves. This would is manifested by movement and fashion. Jessica Woo https://www.instagram.com/sulheejessica/ who is the most gorgeous person that I have ever met, (friend from highschool) understood my idea and when you put Jessica Woo and her sister – they killed it! Kristen Kay captured it incredibly.
