Hey Sweeties!
We’re back at it again with another beautiful tale to tell you all about. Have you ever heard of the story about the flower girl and the orange man? No? Well, that’s because there never was one, until now that is.
Here at MyloFleur, we had the opportunity to be part of a wondrous event held by the Wedding International Professionals Association (WIPA), and the best part of it was that we were given the responsibility of providing all of the floral decoration. Shocking, right? Nevertheless, let me tell you all the ins and outs of our honorable participation alongside other reputable wedding professionals.
The first steps of installation started nearly over a week before the actual event. That is because that is when the idea of the beautiful, “Citrus Queen,” finally began to take shape and mold itself into reality. Just imagine an immaculate gown coated in silk floral that just glides as the model walks with vibrant eye-catching colors that scream summer. That was the Idea I had for this unique piece of artistry and with the help of my team at MyloFleur, as you can see, it was quite a success.
In doing so the flowers were allowed to stay stagnant on the tables as everyone looked on in awe, but they were also able to dance with the help of our model Ginger Gould. She was the flower girl in every sense of the word, which is quite ironic for an event about weddings. Accompanying her, while a lot less visually stellar but much more spunky, was an “Orange man,” who danced the day away. In essence, they created that fable of both the flower girl and the orange man as they brought life to the recreational nature around them.
However, as is with most things, that was not the end of the story. In actuality, much more rigor was involved to achieve the final presentation. With excellence in mind and a drive for perfection, my team and I ventured to the respective venue at the Bellagio and got to work both day and night; all before my wonderful associates walked through the doors and witnessed our astonishing designs and unique wall art. It was all coming together right before our eyes and felt as if the term of being, “successful,” felt more real than ever before.
Perhaps it was the summer breeze or the sprightly energy of everyone around us, but it felt like all of the hard work and sleepless nights finally came to a halt and in that moment it was worth it all. It truly was a great reminder to continue fighting for your fairytale.
Personal Note:
I wanted to take a moment to show my gratitude for those who interacted and worked with me to make all of this possible. Especially @mcneillevents, whose planning and projecting assisted us in taking our vision and sharpening it until it was quite nearly perfect to produce something so informative yet enjoyable. Not only that but a great thanks to those from our sister company, Land to Land, for every ounce of heart and soul they put into bringing this concept alive.
As a new Director and collaborator of WIPA, I hope to be involved in further projects and offer the creativity that is brought on by both my team and myself to create enchanting settings such as this one. It may feel like a dream in the mix of it all, but this demonstration reminds us that life is much more like a fantasy than anything else.
Xoxo,
Mylo
